These art-related mirrors from Possible Mirror reveal a post and lintel style, derived from ancient Greek architecture. This format has been used by artists Brice Marden and Imi Knoebel in many of their abstract compositions.
The Strip Mirrors are dynamic, being both modular and variable. An easy-to-use hanging system means each mirror can be rotated through 360 degrees for display in a portrait or landscape format. They are also designed to work individually or in groups. If you purchase more than one, they can also slide horizontally so that they may touch each, or be apart as you prefer.
They can be made to custom sizes and with any colour combination, which you can commission to suit your own preference or interior setting. The mirrors shown here are each 34 x 26 cm in size and each frame is faced with hand painted 35 x 6 mm strips. The strips can be configured to order and painted in any combination of colours from the Farrow & Ball range. Each mirror in this size weighs 1.5 kg.
The frames are hand-made and finished in solid white oak, however they can also be made in beech and ash. Please contact us for more details.
