This stark silk-screen print features one of the iconic faces of the 20th century. Marilyn Monroe’s face, her jewellery infused with real diamond dust stares out as the viewer with an expression as blank and uncommunicative as the black square below her, making this a beguiling image. The print is based on a 1990 original (photographs and enamel paint on wood), which was part of a series in homage to Monroe. From a signed edition of 175.
