View on a Wall
Framed to the artist's design, this original painting study on canvas is an official study for Chris Gollon's highly-acclaimed 'Fourteen Stations of the Cross', which are permanently installed in the Grade I listed Church of St John on Bethnal Green, designed by Sir John Soane. This work is interesting, since it was completed just before Chris Gollon elected to use his own son as the model for Jesus, in his final 'Fourteen Stations of the Cross'.
