This beautiful hand-crafted and unique composition is essentially a diptych.

The beech wood frames of each panel were finished by hand. The panel's stripes, each individually cut, were hand painted using carefully selected colours from the Farrow & Ball range. This wholly unique diptych, with its specific choice of colours and precise composition, refers directly to a painting by the American artist Gene Davis (1920 - 1985).

This unique work has a very easy-to-use hanging system, which is designed to hang flush to the wall in widely differing configurations, dependent on your own preference or the desired setting. The mirror and panel frames can be rotated, slide laterally, be displayed in a portrait or landscape format. They can also touch, or be apart.

The mirror is paired with the carefully-designed striped panel, each in solid beech wood frames with walnut corner plugs. The face on each frame is just 6mm wide giving this design a contemporary minimalist look.
