We published this edition of silkscreen prints with Maggi Hambling in 2006, partly to raise money for Terrence Higgins Trust, helping people with HIV and AIDS. George Melly, Stephen Fry and Maggi Hambling attended the launch party and we continue to donate £100 from every sale from this edition to THT.

Provenance

This print has museum provenance, since it was part of the 'George Always' exhibition in 2009 at the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool, along with the many paintings Maggi Hambling painted of George Melly after her dear friend's death.
