Huddersfield Art Gallery

Huddersfield Art Gallery is an important fine art museum in north west England. It was the first museum in the UK to acquire a work by Francis Bacon, and it was the first museum to purchase one of Chris Gollon’s music-related paintings ‘Einstein & The Jealous Monk (after Bob Dylan)’, which now hangs in the museum's permanent collection alongside works by Henry Moore, Walter Sickert, Francis Bacon and Sir Jacob Epstein. In 2019, IAP Fine Art was invited to curate the first museum retrospective of Chris Gollon’s music-related works ‘CHRIS GOLLON: Beyond the Horizon’ at Huddersfield Art Gallery.  We also published with Kirklees Council and Huddersfield Art Gallery, the accompanying exhibition catalogue, which can be purchased here: Gallery Shop.  ‘CHRIS GOLLON: Beyond the Horizon’ at Huddersfield Art Gallery is now also online: Exhibitions.
