This new BBC-commissioned documentary by the award-winning director Randall Wright was broadcast again in September 2021 on BBC 4. It was first shown in October 2020, and it remains available to view here: BBC iPlayer.
Released upon the occasion of her 75th birthday, this excellent film documents Maggi Hambling’s life in paint, and her close friendships and her many muses from Henrietta Moraes to George Melly and the North Sea, and documents major public commissions such as Scallop.
Pictured is ‘George Melly Singing’ one of the silkscreen print editions we published with Maggi to raise money for the Terrence Higgins Trust.
