Size: 104 x 65 x 4 cm, (mirror panel: 90 x 50 cm), weight: 5 kg. Edition of 3 (plus one artist’s prototype). Stamped, signed, dated and numbered on the reverse.

This limited edition mirror has been constructed in hand painted poplar, the top section features painted museum glass panels in the four alchemical colours of black, white, red and yellow. This minimalist design references the work of the artist Ellsworth Kelly (1923 – 2015) while the colours of the mirror frame recall his fellow American, Mark Rothko (1903 – 1970).

The frame is painted Studio Green from the Farrow & Ball range and is faced with narrow panels in five more colours; Stiffkey Blue, Downpipe, Pelt, Brinjal and Railings. The 4mm mirrored glass has polished edges and is feather floated within the central tray section, the interior of which is coated with graphite. This mirror has an integral split batten for secure, flush wall hanging. This mirror is made on demand; allow around six weeks for your order to be completed.
