by Maggi Hambling
IAP Fine Art published this edition of silkscreen prints with Maggi Hambling in 1998 to raise money for Terrence Higgins Trust, helping people with HIV and AIDS. George Melly and Maggi Hambling attended the launch party and we continue to donate £100 from every sale from this edition to THT. For all of March 2020, we are delighted to now donate £100 from each sale to the Art Fund’s appeal to save Derek Jarman’s Prospect Cottage. When the edition was published Maggi Hambling designed the frame and gave a print to Keith Collins, Derek’s lover and long-time companion, to hang in Prospect Cottage, where it remains on display to this day.
28.75” x 19.70” (73 x 50 cm), signed silk-screen print on 300g Vellum Arches fine art paper, 1998, from an edition of 250. This print can also be purchased in a frame made to Maggi Hambling’s design, which can be viewed by clicking the second thumbnail below the main image.
